Recruiting Team Owners for the U.S. National Poker League™ (NPL). This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the U.S. NPL!
Join the U.S. National Poker League™ (NPL) as a Team Owner!
Seeking six passionate Team Owners to lead competitive squads in the U.S. National Poker League™. Each owner will manage a team of eight skilled Poker Players, selected through a draft from a pool of pre-qualified contenders.
Owner Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Must be at least 21 years of age to be an Owner in the NPL
- Must be available and have the means to travel to competitions
- Each owner will have the exclusive Operating Rights to a team consisting of Poker Players, who will be drafted from a predetermined list of vetted candidates
- Owners are ultimately responsible for drafting players to their team, from a predetermined pool of players
- Responsible for choosing which players will play at each given event
- Time commitment
- Owners must be available for the draft and for each tournament, plus Semi-Finals and the Championship event

- Owners cannot also be Players in the league
Credentials:
- Have a passion for the game of Poker
- Have a thorough understanding of Poker
- Understand NL Hold ’em tournament structure & play
- Understand Mixed Game tournament play
- Be available for the required time commitments
- Have the necessary financial assets available to cover league fee(s) and player expenses, i.e., purchase coordinating Team Ownership Operating Rights, etc., as defined by League policy
- Team ownership can consist of more than a single individual, in which case the total liquid assets required would be the summation of all individual assets or the total of the singular entity interested in owning a team

- If simply submitting a curriculum vitae or similar, be certain to also include poker/sports/gaming related credentials, if they are otherwise missing
- Include a list of credentials, with specific emphasis on poker, sports, and gaming, as applicable
- Include any other related items, such as participation in other leagues (professional sports teams or leagues, fantasy football, recreational gaming leagues, high school/college/professional sports, etc.), if applicable
- Include any team leadership, management or (business) ownership experience, as applicable
- Include an explanation for your interest in becoming an owner in the NPL
